Versus: East of the Sun
Versus is a two part series where we explore the differences between two IPA yeasts, while the dry-hop stays the same.
For East of the Sun, we used WLP066 London Fog yeast. For West of the Moon, we used Bry-97 American West Coast ale yeast. Both beers have a healthy double dry-hop of Citra, Mosaic and Ekuanot.
In East of the Sun we experience notes of mango, papaya and grapefruit on a soft body with a gentle bitter finish.
Compare the two beers and have opinions.
