Versus: West of the Moon
Versus is a two part series where we explore the differences between two IPA yeasts, while the dry-hop stays the same.
For West of the Moon, we used Bry-97 American West Coast ale yeast. For East of the Sun, we used WLP066 London Fog yeast. Both beers have a healthy double dry-hop of Citra, Mosaic and Ekuanot.
In West of the Moon we experience notes of mango and grapefruit on a dry body with a resinous and bitter finish.
Compare the two beers and have opinions.
